What does a Gir cow cost?

Price depends heavily on lineage, lactation number, current yield, and pregnancy status. A first-lactation pure Gir typically starts around ₹1.2 lakh; high-yielding fourth-lactation cows from elite lines can go significantly higher. We don't list prices publicly — we quote against your specific shortlist.

Do you ship cows outside Rajasthan?

Yes — we have shipped cows across India, and to twelve countries including Brazil, the UAE, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. We coordinate transport, paperwork, vaccination certificates, and quarantine where applicable.

Is your milk really A2?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Gir is a pure indigenous breed and naturally produces A2 beta-casein milk. We test periodically to verify, and we never crossbreed with Holstein-Friesian or Jersey, both of which produce A1.

What is the average milk yield?

Rural-farm conditions typically see 1,900–2,500 litres per lactation. In organized farms with good fodder management, yields range 3,500–5,500 litres. Our flagship cow Parmeshwar F11 has touched 5,500 L at peak.

Can I get bull semen from your elite bulls?

Yes. We supply frozen semen from carefully selected Gir bulls — including the Sharman, Gadra, and Sindhan lines. Doses come with full pedigree documentation. Reach out for current availability.

What is embryo transfer technology and why does it matter?

ETT lets us multiply elite genetics fast — instead of one elite cow producing one calf per year, we can transfer 7½-day-old embryos from her into recipient cows, getting 5–6 elite calves in the same time. We use it carefully, only with our top-performing donors.

Absolutely. Visits are by appointment so we can give you proper time. Best window is October to March. Reach out in advance and we'll confirm a slot.

Kishangarh, Rajasthan — about 100 km from Jaipur and 25 km from Ajmer. Kishangarh has its own airport with direct flights from Delhi and several other cities.
